Rich Franklin personifies the hard working, relentless drive of MAXUS brand equipment. Prior to becoming a full time mixed martial arts fighter, Franklin was a math teacher at Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati. He has a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. Now a three-time middleweight champion in the UFC and a top pay-per-view draw, Franklin began his mixed martial arts career in local fight shows. Franklin has appeared on many television show such as, “The Ultimate Fighter”, CNBC‘s “Fast Money”, “The O’Reilly Factor”, Spike TV’s “All Access” and “Beyond the Glory” on FOX Sports Net. Franklin has been featured in Men’s Fitness, The Wall Street Journal, and TV Guide. Franklin also is a partner in the American Fighter brand apparel.
